This New Year...2007

Well happy new year to everyone! I know I've been slacking on my posts, but things have been really hectic with work, family, church and our preparations for Samoa. Not only that, been spending a lot of time with my babe before he leaves or left for New Zealand! :-(

Well let's see, for all the wrong that I've done in 2006, please forgive me! For all the stupid acts and the hearts that I've broken--I'm sorry! 2007 will bring a new person out of me. Not that I wasn't unhappy with who I was then, but I'm getting older and have to decide in a more mature manner u know?? No more little kid stuffs and no more kicking it with little kids. lol. j/k.

I can say that my faith in God has gotten a lot stronger since the events from 2006 like Grandma's funeral, my cousin Richard in the hospital and Dad in the hospital too. Moreso, being blessed with a wonderful man like Hector has gotten to be more appreciative and thankful to the Lord about all the blessings I've received.

Welps, the youth is alive and kicking getting ready for Samoa. All my childhood buddies are back at church and we love eachother's company so much. So it makes the work a lot easier with the youth. Although, we've had a couple of stragglers that have lost sight of family, church and love in itself and started running off, but nevertheless-->they are back home and hopefully they realize that there's no place like home!

My parents are getting old and are alot more aggravated with us. It's like they've become more anal about a lot of things and sometimes they forget that we're getting older just like they are. lol. Like how my dad slept with our car keys the night of New Year's Eve so we wouldn't go anywhere. lol.. who does that? It's all good though, my parents will slowly adjust! My sister Keti's ready to go back home cause she can't handle the pressure at home. lol. it's no biggie. it's just when you come home after being on your own all the time, it's not the same. All in all, I am so proud of my parents for their tremendous work they've done for the church, pulega and the matagaluega. They've managed to pay off the church land and now it belongs to the EFKS Dominguez. The matagaluega continues to grow with 16 churches in the whole American District. Praise God! NOt only that, but people have started to come back to church. SO kudos to Mom & Dad for that one!

My sisters have had boyfriends and before the first month can end, they've broken up with their boyfriends. My sisters are beautiful and will have plenty of guys to holler at them, it's just situations are situations and things happen for a reason. So it's ok! I just crack up because both my sisters' boyfriends' are older than myne. lol. But it's ok. I tell my sisters and brother every day, make sure you find someone who will make you happy and laugh every day. Don't find anyone for the looks because you'll be miserable. Find personality not the personal looks. however, my brother still holds tight to his long conversations with his girlfriend during the wee hours of the night. lol. so it's ok. She's another faifeau's daughter and I know they aren't in a serious situation. It's just with all the pulega practices, attractions will happen and relationships will be built from this. Oh did I mention my brother's girlfriend and my man go to the same church? lol. yeah!!!


My family is in full effect, with my cousin Lokeni coming down to help my dad out with his ministry project of teaching the kids a hip-hop dance for the trip to Samoa. Poor Keni, we've been drinking all weekend just to celebrate with him. Too fun! My daddy's side are some talented folks!!! Dancing runs in the blood! lol. My mom's side is still in-tact, with everyone home for the holidays, we're still bonding as usual within the church. Love them to the fullest too.


My babe is now in New Zealand for his cousin's wedding. Got to see him off and miss him terribly too! Have a lot of things to think about when he gets back, like discussing possibilities of tying the knot. lol. Did i mention that I love this man? lol. So hurry back babe because I miss you and can't wait to see you next week! Like I said in a previous post. God has put me where I want to be and am not complaining about it at all.
